Homemade Salsa

The only thing better than chips and salsa is having homemade chips and salsa! You can be more sure of what is in your food and feel better about it. With only five ingredients you can have the most delicious homemade salsa in just a few minutes. Perfect for entertaining, a side to dinner, or just to munch on. You cannot go wrong with this homemade salsa recipe.
Prep Time 5 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • ½ Onion
  • 2 14.5 ounce cans Diced Tomatoes We prefer Fire Roasted with Green Chillies
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Juice of ½ a lime
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder

Instructions
 

  • Slice onion in half and pulse in food processor until it is roughly chopped.
  • Add the diced tomatoes, salt, lime juice, and garlic powder to your chopped onions and continue to pulse until you've reached the consistency you prefer.
  • Serve right away or let it rest in the fridge to allow flavors to develop more.

Notes

If the salsa is a little too acidic for your preference you can add a pinch to a tsp of sugar.
