Homemade Pico de Gallo

This super easy homemade pico de gallo recipe is the perfect addition to tacos, quesadillas, fajitas, and so many other dishes! So yummy with just some chips too.
Prep Time 10 minutes
Chill Time To Allow Flavors to Meld 30 minutes
Total Time 40 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 4-6 small to medium Tomatoes
  • 2-3 Jalapenos Deseeded if desired
  • 1 Medium Onion
  • 2-4 tbsp Lime juice from 1-2 fresh limes I've also used lemon juice in a pinch!
  • ½ cup Cilantro Or desired amount
  • 1 tsp Salt Or desired amount
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder Optional

Instructions
 

  • Chop or dice your tomatoes, onions, and jalapeños and add to a small bowl. Deseed jalapeños if you would like (we always do). My husband likes to have a little seeds in there for a little kick.
  • Juice one lime (or lemon) and add to the bowl of chopped vegetables.
  • Add salt to taste and if desired add garlic powder.
  • Chop cilantro and add to bowl.
  • Gently mix to combine and let set in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together. Or don't and gobble it up immediately like me :).
  • Use as a condiment, topping, or dip and enjoy :).
