Cut fabric into four inch circles. I used a ribbon spool that was about four inches to trace onto a fabric square then cut them out. Try to use fabric scissors or really sharp scissors to make sure your fabric cuts nicely.
Place a tiny dot of hot glue onto the bottom of your egg. Place it in the middle of one of your circle pieces of fabric. This will help to keep the fabric in place for the next step.
Wrap the fabric around the egg using your hot glue to secure it on the egg trying to create even folds as you go.
Glue twine to the top of the egg starting just below the top of the fabric.
Gather a few sticks from outside and cut them into 1/4 to 1/2 inch pieces for the stems.
Using the hot tip of your glue gun make a tiny hole in the tip of your acorn where you glued the twin. Add a generous dot of glue to the hole you just created and press in your stem until the glue has dried.
Repeat until you've made your desired amount.
